Meet the Founder

Samantha Barrett

Samantha didn't set out to start a business. It started when someone asked her to pet sit for a weekend — and she treated their home and pet as if they were her own. She sent photos throughout the stay. She gave updates on mail delivery. She kept the pet's routine down to the minute.

The client's response? “You should start a business — because the rest of them don't do this.”

Why “Individualized” Isn't Just a Word

Most pet care and cleaning companies operate from a set menu. They tell you what they will and won't do. They show up, follow their checklist, and leave.

Samantha saw a different way. She starts every relationship with a question: What matters most to you?

That question changes everything. It means the pet with separation anxiety gets extra attention at bedtime. It means the kitchen counter you care about most gets cleaned first. It means your elderly dog's medication schedule is followed to the letter — not just “close enough.”

This is what boutique-level care actually looks like. Not a fancier price tag — a fundamentally different approach that starts with listening.

Samantha's career started in hospital environmental services right out of high school, where she learned clinical-grade cleanliness standards that most residential cleaners never encounter. Growing up in a military family instilled the high standards for clean, orderly spaces that still drive her work today.

She uses professional-grade products — the same manufacturers that supply commercial facilities — because she believes your home deserves better than what's on the grocery store shelf.

Every Animal Deserves to Feel Safe

Many of the animals Samantha cares for are adopted and come from traumatic backgrounds. Just like people, they need time to heal and learn to trust again.

That's why in-home care matters so much. A pet boarding facility — no matter how well-run — can retraumatize an animal that's already been through too much. Keeping them in their own environment, with their own routine and a caregiver who understands their history, makes all the difference.

Samantha experienced this firsthand when she adopted a kitten that had been traumatized by a pack of dogs. With patience, consistency, and a safe environment, he became the most affectionate cat she's ever known. She brings that same patience and care to every animal she works with.

Beyond cats and dogs, Samantha has cared for horses, geese, ducks, fish ponds, and more. If your animal needs care, the consultation is where we figure out the best plan together.
